WHEN A DEEP CLEAN MAKES SENSE
A deep clean can be useful when:
- the home has fallen behind and needs a proper reset
- kitchens or bathrooms need more detailed attention
- dust, skirting boards, corners and general build-up need extra work
- you are preparing the home before starting regular cleaning
- you want more than a basic maintenance clean
- certain areas need to be brought back to a better standard before ongoing cleaning begins

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN A DEEP CLEAN
Every home is different, so the exact cleaning list is agreed before we start. A deep clean can include:

- sink and tapware
- cooktop
- exterior of cupboards and drawers
- appliance exteriors
- detailed wiping of surfaces
- vacuuming and mopping
Bathrooms and toilets
- shower and bath
- shower screens and fittings
- basin and vanity

- mirrors and tapware
- detailed wiping of surfaces and touchpoints
- vacuuming and mopping
Bedrooms, living areas and general areas
- dusting and wiping of furniture as required
- vacuuming throughout
- mopping applicable hard floors
- cobweb removal
- skirting boards
- switches and handles
- general tidy and detailed attention to areas that have built up over time
A DEEP CLEAN ISN’T AN HOURLY GUESS
One of the biggest problems with deep cleaning is when the job is sold as a number of hours rather than a completed result.
If the home needs more work than expected, the customer can end up hearing:
“We ran out of time.”
That is not how we structure our deep cleans.
We agree on the cleaning required, confirm the fixed price in writing, and complete the agreed work.
If we underestimate how long it takes, that is our responsibility.
WHAT WE DON’T INCLUDE AS STANDARD
To keep expectations clear, some work needs to be discussed separately before we quote.
This can include:
- specialist mould remediation
- full wall washing
- blinds requiring specialist treatment
- unsafe or high exterior windows
- hoarding or heavily contaminated environments
- anything outside the agreed cleaning list
If something needs special attention, tell us before we quote and we’ll let you know whether we can include it.

PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT
We bring the normal cleaning products and equipment required for the agreed clean.
Where suitable, we use plant-based products, along with targeted cleaning products where a particular surface or build-up needs something stronger.
